Assistant Chef Duties:
- Assist the head chef in preparing and cooking meals for private clients - Help with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, and preparing dishes with supervision.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the head chef - Assist in ppackaging, garnishing and labeling dishes for clients - Ensure that all food is prepared, cooled and stored in a timely manner - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary environment is not required - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety guidelines - Ability to work well accurately in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent teamwork and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking and wants to gain experience and learn the business as a private chef.
The assistant chef will work closely with the head chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.
